ABOUT THE CHEF

Michelle Noyola, the Chef and owner of Home Appétit Personal Chef Service, received her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University and is a graduate of the United States Personal Chef Institute.  Growing up among her Italian relatives in Philadelphia instilled in her a passion for good food and entertaining.

Michelle started cooking in early childhood next to her mother and great aunt, and as a pre-teen was given the freedom to experiment in the kitchen. From there her passion grew, and her love of food, friends and family has kept her cooking. She has been creating meals and throwing parties for friends and family for more than 20 years.

When Home Appétit was established in 2001, Michelle spent several years focused on the Personal Chef aspect of her business, primarily cooking dinners for clients.  It was in 2006, when asked by some of her children's classmates if she'd teach them, she began to teach cooking classes for kids and teens.  As a mother of two teenage boys, she knows the importance of healthy eating and loves to teach kids how to use fresh ingredients to create delicious meals and desserts.

Whether you love gourmet or crave home cooking, Michelle specializes in fresh, healthy, nutritious food without the use of hydrogenated fats or preservatives.

Home Appétit is now focused on cooking classes and small-scale catering. Please call if you have an interest in either.
